DP World says will buy Singapore logistics firms; looking for more acquisitions across Asia

SINGAPORE – Logistics giant DP World is in the process of buying at least two companies here over coming months – just two years after it relocated its Asia Pacific headquarters to Singapore.

Mr Glen Hilton, the regional chief executive and managing director, told The Straits Times in a recent interview that the acquisitions will likely expand the firm’s Asia Pacific operations in Singapore, including adding to its 70-strong head count and moving to more spacious premises.
